After entering into the cave, Lord Shiva started narrating the secret of Amar Katha to Maa Parvati by sitting on his Asan - Deer's skin. No one else, but an egg of pigeon remained protected beneath the Asan of Lord Shiva. The pair of pigeon came out from the eggs afterwards and became immortal, as they had heard the secret of immortality.
