Maa Siddhidatri, the ninth form of Goddess Durga is worshiped on the ninth day of Navratri, i.e. on April 8, 2014. She gives us the ultimate boon of perfection. Not only humans, but Devatas and sages also worship Maa Siddhidatri for her blessings. Worship the divine power of Maa Siddhidatri to receive her grace.

Maa Siddhidatri is the 9th form of Goddess Durga who is worshiped on the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri I.e April 8, 2014. The ninth day of Chaitra Navratri is also known as Ram Navami. So this day is also celebrated as the festival of Ram Navami by the devotees. Navratri's 9th day also marks the end of this 9 day long festival in the honor of Mother Goddess.

Maa Siddhidatri fulfills the wishes of her devotees and blesses them with all kinds of Siddhis. After observing the 8 days long fast of Navratri and receiving blessings of all the goddesses, the thoughts of devotees are cleaned and purified. Their souls are now prepared for acquiring all kinds of Siddhis. These Siddhis are provided by Maa Siddhidatri. Receiving her blessings marks the successful completion of Navratri Puja.

This pleasing and charming Goddess has four arms, holding Gada (mace), Chakra (sharp edged wheel), lotus flower, and Shankh (conch shell). She sits on a flower of lotus and rides a lion. Lord Shiva also worshiped Maa Siddhidatri for attaining all kinds of Siddhis, after which he is named as Ardhanareshwar.

For worshiping Maa Siddhidatri, ritual of Kanjak is performed by the devotees. Devotees invite and worship 9 girls (below the age of 12), as the nine forms motherly goddess. Prasad of Puri, Chana, Suji Halwa, coconut, banana and some gift is presented to them in the honor of Mother Goddess. Not only humans but Devas and sages also worship Maa Siddhidatri for receiving her grace.

या देवी सर्वभू‍तेषु माँ सिद्धिदात्री रूपेण संस्थिता।
नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नम:।।

Meaning of Mantra: The Goddess who is present in the heart of every human being in the form of Devi Siddhidatri (who gives the ultimate boon of perfection), I owe respect to that Mother Goddess.
