Diwali 2012 Muhurat for Pujan

Laxmi Pujan or the grand festival of Diwali is celebrated on the full moon night of the Kartik Krishna Paksha in Pradosh Kaal and in a fixed sign. This day is considered to be a very auspicious day to worship Goddess ‘Laxmi’, the Goddess of wealth, in order to seek her blessings. The formation of four yogas; Amavasya, Pradosh Kaal, Shubh Lagna and chaughadia is taking place on the day of Diwali this year. The day of Diwali is Tuesday as well, which possess great significance for the Muhurat of Diwali. Diwali Pujan in Pradosh kaal is considered as very auspicious. Fixed sign is said to be excellent in Pradosh kaal. This year the Pradosh Kaal will begin in the evening at 05.07 P.M and will continue till 07.45 P.M. fixed sign named Taurus will keep on rising. The Taurus sign will remain from 05.33 P.M to 07.28 P.M in the cities that are near Delhi. Chaughadiy named as Labh will get combined to this at 06.46 P.M. For the cities that are near to Delhi this time will remain from 07.07 P.M to 08.46 P.M. The time might be different for different places. The Muhurta for worshipping Goddess Laxmi in the Eastern India will be from 5.00 P.M to 06.56 P.M. In North India, the Muhurat will start at 05.35 P.M and will end at 07.25 P.M on an average. The time for Lakshmi Poojan in the Southern India would be from 05.47 to 07.47 P.M. The Muhurata for Lakshmi Pujan will remain from 06.07 P.M to 08.05 P.M. in the Western India.

The Lord of first house and the Lord of sixth house, Venus are placed in the fifth house and are being aspected by the Jupiter. Lord of second house and Lord of fifth house Mercury are situated in the seventh house and are also being aspected by the Jupiter. The Lord of third house Moon, Lord of fourth house Sun and the Lord of ninth and the tenth house Saturn are in the sixth house. Lord of seventh house and the Lord of twelfth, Mars being situated in the eighth house are giving very fortunate results. After making donation or performing remedies in the favor of Lord of eight house Mars, worshipping the account book in the fixed sign and worshipping Lord Ganesha, Goddess Luxmi and Lord Indra will prove to be very auspicious and fortunate.

The second fixed sign is Leo. In the cities near Delhi, Leo’s fixed sign will start around 12:08 A.M (14th November according to Gregorian calendar) and will remain till 2:25 A.M. Chaughadia named as Amrit and Char will also begin during this time. Worship of Goddess can be done in this time period too. Lord of Ascendant Sun, the lord of twelfth house Moon, the Lord of sixth and seventh house Saturn are in the third house. Lord of eleventh house and the Lord of second house Mercury are situated in the fourth house and are being aspected by the Jupiter. The Lord of ninth and the Lord of fourth house Mars is placed in the fifth house. Whereas, the Lord of fifth house and the Lord of eight house Jupiter is placed in the tenth house. After considering all these planetary position, it is determined that the Muhurat for Diwali is excellent for this year. Therefore, worshipping Lord Ganesha, Kuber, Indra and Goddess Lakshmi will result in increment in happiness and prosperity.

Two more signs come in between Leo and Taurus that are Gemini and Cancer. The sign of Cancer is ‘char’ and Goddess Laxmi is not worshipped in the ‘Char’ sign whereas Gemini is the sign of dual behavior which means that half of its portion is considered as fixed and other half as ’Char’. In the cities near Delhi, the fixed sign of Gemini will start from 7:28 P.M and will end at 9:42 P.M. Chaughadia named Labh will also keep on integrating till 08:46 P.M. Lord of seventh house and Lord of tenth house Jupiter is situated in 12th house with Ketu in this sign. Therefore, after performing remedies or donating in the favor of Jupiter and Ketu, worshipping Lord Ganesha, Kuber, Indra and Goddess Laxmi will be very promising. The time period from 11:20 P.M to 12:04 A.M will be the ‘Mahanisheet Kaal’ according to the Indian timings in which the ‘Labh’ and the ‘Amrit’ Chaughadia will be combined. Worshipping Laxmi, Kuber, Indra, Mahakaali, Maha Saraswati, practicing various tantric activities, Shrichakrarchan, Shri Yantra Pujan and Anushthan will be extremely fruitful.
