Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is the original and most powerful of the twenty-two schools of yoga, all of which are beneficial. All forms of yoga are beneficial. The yoga sutras say that what you can achieve in 12 years of Hatha Yoga plus 6 years of Raj Yoga plus 3 years of Mantra Yoga plus 1 year of Laya Yoga can be accomplished in a single year of perfectly practiced Kundalini Yoga.

“The process of self-healing is the privilege of every human being. Self-healing is not a miracle, nor is it a question of being able to do something that most people can’t. Self-healing is a process that occurs through the relationship between the physical and the infinite power of the soul. It is a contract, a union - that is the science of Kundalini Yoga.”

Kundalini Yoga is an ancient scientific technology for happiness. It provides happiness by balancing the glandular system, strengthening the nervous system, and enabling us to tap into the energy of the mind and the emotions, so we can be in control of ourselves, rather than being controlled by our thoughts and feelings. Kundalini Yoga promotes better functioning of our bodily systems, increases our radiance and the impact we have on others, promotes emotional balance and enhances intuition, helps to eliminate negative habit patterns, and promotes a sense of relaxation and well being. So, the benefits impact all aspects of our physical

Kundalini yoga involves some very specific archetypes or ideas that are part of a traditional Hindi belief system. In Kundalini yoga, poses and activities are not just technical items to help promote bodily health. Instead, they are part of a process that some might call "unlocking" where, according to ancient belief, Kundalini yoga opens up an energy at the base of the spine that slowly moves up in the body to eventually become a kind of "third eye," which helps individuals to see elements of their true self and the world around them. This spiritual alignment forms a basis for a lot of the practices of Kundalini yoga. As a very spiritual yoga practice, Kundalini is not for beginners, and some of its secrets have been carefully guarded over the centuries.

Kundalini is real.  It is flowing through your body right now.  There is a vast reservoir of untapped, or 'dormant' kundalini stored under the fourth vertebra of the spinal column.  Through Kundalini Yoga we stimulate this energy and allow it to rise up the spine to activate the pineal gland. It enables us to harness the energy of the mind and emotions, so we can be in control of ourselves, rather than being controlled

For life is like one big knot, that keeps us tied to this life that we live in.  It keeps us tied to this body, with all its disease and sickness that we have, or may have in the future.  It also keeps us tied to this mind of ours, with all its emotions and commotions, its ups and downs, ins and outs, and desires, be they good or bad.  So how does one get out of the knots of life?

Kundalini Yoga can untie these knots. It's up to you to check it out & enjoy!
