What is Lal Kitab?

Published originally in the Urdu language, “Lal Kitab” is an impressive compilation which contains excellent principles, concepts, doctrines and remedial measures. The work popularly and rightly is known as “The Wonder Book” of Astrology. It’s interesting to note that “Lal Kitab” is a school of Astrology which has the credit of bringing the science of astrology to the door step of common man. It’s crucial to note that gradually Lal Kitab is gaining meaningful acclaim across the country amidst various other systems of Astrology. All the knowledge, the principles and the rules of this system have been placed in 5 books known as Lal Kitab itself.

As a matter of fact rashis are not taken into consideration in as much as the astrology of prediction is concerned. Structurally the house of the first Rashi is “Aries” and as we move up the ascendant is treated as the first house and it is regarded as the house of the first Rashi, i.e., Aries and counting progressively in a sequence up to the 12th house being that of Pisces.

In addition to the above, Lal Kitab has announced unique remedial measures to solve chronic and critical human problems in day-to-day life. These measures do not require the practice of ordeals, complicated and expensive rituals, Mantras and Tantras. The measures suggested in Lal Kitab are electrically effective in solving all kinds of human troubles and tensions, without inflicting harm on anybody i.e. these remedies are completely self defensive against the evils created by the planets without causing injury in any way to anyone concerned.

Origin of Lal Kitab

Lal Kitab originally caught attention of world print media in the year of 1983 when an astrological journal namely the ‘Fate and fortune’ published the remedies of Lal Kitab in one of its issues, soon, the market became flooded with umpteen versions of Lal Kitab authentic or unauthentic.

There are various theories related to origin of Lal Kitab. According to one theory, Lal Kitab came into existence or it would be better to say reexistence, as per the records it is believed that around 1940 in the Punjab region of Pakistan, Pandit Giridhari Lal Ji Sharma was doing government job under the British administration. During that time some copper scripts written in Urdu and Persian language were dug out from a Lahore construction site. Pandit Giridhari Sharma was a scholar of astrology and expertise polyglot of that era, so the copper scripts were taken to him. For many years Pandit Ji deeply studied those Urdu cum Persian scripts and hence concluded that the scripts were actually related to astrology and is from Lal Kitab.

Another story tells that the Lal Kitab was not discovered by Pandit Giridhari Sharma but actually the work of Pt Roopchand Ji Joshi who was a cousin of Pt Girdhar Lal Ji Sharma and that Pt Sharma was only the publisher of the book. This is the most accepted theory pertaining to origin of Lal Kitab.

Stories may be different but none can deny that Lal Kitab is a wonderful thesis of astrology that has some great counteractive measures.

Soon Lal Kitab emerged as a popular astrological book because of simple and quick to follow remedies that doesn’t required any Yantras or complex pooja’s which has to be followed very rigorously; hence Lal Kitab proved to be very efficient for common people. The remedies mentioned in the Lal Kitab shall be performed simply by any person without any kind of norms to be followed.

How does Lal Kitab work?

Lal Kitab is a thesis on astrology and palmistry collectively; hence Lal Kitab combines the benefits of Astrology and Palmistry.

According to Palmistry, palm is divided into 12 parts similar to the natural Zodiac which is also divided into twelve signs like Aries, Taurus etc. Every planet mentioned in the astrology has been assigned a particular shape. When this particular shape appears in any portion of the palm it is supposed to be occupying a particular house of the birth chart. These signs represent the planets. Thus we have the twelve houses and the nine planets posted in the chart having twelve houses. Hence astrological chart is prepared on the basis of the palm and the existence of planets. These charts are unlike the birth charts prepared on astrological principles. The authenticity of astrological charts is to be corrected by the chart prepared from palm imprints.

Irrespective of the system or the mode of preparation the above discussed chart contains the lagna and the other twelve houses numbered serially. It is important to remember that the 12 Zodiac signs have no significance in the chart.
