Rohini Vratahrday 

In the Jain religion, the Rohini fast is one of the vital events or occasions. This fast is linked to Rohini Nakshatra and is considered one of the 27 Nakshatras. On the day of the Rohini Fast, the natives of the Jain religion observe this fast, and as per the Hindu calendar, this fast falls every month. The Rohini Vrat or fast starts from the day of Rohini Nakshatra and continues till the next Margashirsha Nakshatra. This fast is observed by the married women following Jainism and they offer prayers for the long life of their husbands. 

Meru Trayodashi 

The fast of Meru Trayodashi is considered one of the vital events in the Jain religion. By observing this fast, the followers acquire spiritual peace alongside all worldly happiness. This famous festival of the Jain religion is celebrated in the memory of Pingal Kumar. As per the Hindu Panchang, this festival occurs on the Trayodashi date of Krishna Paksha of the Pausha month. Thus, it is referred to as Meru Trayodashi. Talking about this fast, there is the belief that individuals observing the fast of Meru Trayodashi with a true heart can get all the blessings to attain salvation in life. 

Samvatsari Event 

In the Jain Religion, the Samvatsari festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp. As per the Hindu calendar, the festival falls every year on the day of Shukla Paksha of Bhadra month. During the celebration of Samvatsari for seven days, the followers of the religion engage in sacrifice and tapa. On the eighth day, the festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm. It is believed that on the occasion, the devotees criticize their sins and also mediate to seek forgiveness & freedom from them. 

Mahavir Jayanti 

Lord Mahavir is one of the 24 Tirthankaras of the Jain religion and the day marks the celebration of the birthday of Lord Mahavir. He is credited for the establishment of basic principles of Jainism. 

Lakshmi Puja

In the Hindu religion, just like Lakshmi Puja is considered auspicious, similarly this puja ceremony has a special place in Jainism too. It is believed that Lakshmi Puja is performed by the Jain community on the day of Lord Mahavir to attain salvation.
