Amithab Bachan is the biggest superstar of Indian film industry. It will not be wrong if we say that there is no one in India who doesn’t know his name. The six feet two inches tall actor with his charismatic personality had great box office records. From 1969 to 1984 and from 2000 till date, he had his fantastic journey in the film industry. How long will Big B glitter on silver screen is a very interesting question for both fans and astrologers.

His birth details: October 11, 1942, 15.52 hrs, Allahabad India

I tried to analyze his horoscope as per KP because a lot of comments in accordance with Vedic astrology have already been made. To have a successful career in film industry, one should have well fortified 5th cusp, connection of 2, 6, 10 and 11 houses’ connection to this cusp and also the dasas should be strong enough to continue the Yoga. The strength of Karaka Venus should not be forgotten too. Let us look for these combinations.

In Big B’s chart, 5th house falls in Mercury’s sign, Rahu’s star and Moon’s sub. Mercury is lord of 5 and 8 in 7th cusp in its own sign and with self strength; he is conjoined with Mars and stationed in Mars’ star and sub. Mars is the lord of 3rd and 10th houses. Star lord Rahu is in 6th house (but in 7th sign) in Kethu’s star and Jupiter’s sub. Kethu is in 12th house, but Jupiter is in 5th house in its own star. Jupiter owns 2nd and 11th houses. Connection of 2, 5 and 11 houses at sub-level is very favorable. It is a significant fact that he made his debut in Jupiter-Rahu period. Last but the most significant point, the sub-lord of 5th cusp is Moon, who is lord of 6 in 8, in Rahu’s star and Rahu, as aforementioned, is very favorable. Mars (action) and Mercury’s combination shows why he has so many good action and comedy hits to his credit.

Slow and plodding Saturn bhukthi will start on December 2011. Dasa lord Kethu, an agent for Saturn, has to offer the result for 1, 4 and 12 houses. Saturn aspecting Kethu from the star of Moon will prompt him to take rest and work “behind” the screen. During that period, Saturn will transit over his 8th house. This is its third transit over this point! During his second transit in 1982, it gave him a death blow during Saturn-Moon period. This transit is alarming one for him as Kethu, the dasa lord, is also going to conjoin natal Saturn then. He may need medical attendance at this point of time.

From the above analysis and to the best of my knowledge, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is going to have a very good period till September 2011.
