Chaitra Navratri is the festival of nine divine nights and is considered to be one of the most important festivals of Hindus. According to Hindu calendar, it starts on 1st day (Pratipada) of bright half (Shukla Paksha) of Chaitra month that usually comes around March-April, and ends on its 9th day (Navami).
